• screening all staff and children/students upon arrival for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 with temperature checks and questions about coughs, feeling bad, and contact with COVID-19 positive individuals.
• sending home any staff or children/students showing signs and symptoms of COVID-19, returning only with a doctor’s note.
• continuing to promote hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes among children/students and staff.
• promoting social distancing by arrangement of class furnishings and activities.
• recommending children/students wear face covering during times when social distancing is not feasible.
• requiring staff to wear face coverings when social distancing is not possible.
• minimizing sharing of items.
• maintaining children/students in the same group each day, restricting mixing between groups.
• restricting nonessential visitors, volunteers, and activities involving other groups at the same time.
