Reporting Misconduct

Shepherd of the Woods Lutheran School takes the education, health, and safety of every child very seriously. Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for learning is of the utmost importance. It is important to inform all persons of how to report misconduct of any type to appropriate authorities.

All employees, educational support employees, and administrators in this of this school and any school in the State of Florida has an obligation to report misconduct by instructional personnel and school administrators, which affects the health, safety or welfare of another student. Examples of misconduct includes obscene language, drug and alcohol abuse, disparaging comments, prejudice or bigotry, sexual innuendo, cheating or tesing violations, physical aggression and accepting or offering favors. Reports of misconduct of SOTWLS employees should be made to Rev. Alan Peacock, Principal of SOTWLS at principal@sotwls.com. Reports of misconduct committed by administrators and leaders of SOTWLS should be made to Rev. Kristen Phillips, Senior Pastor and Headmaster of SOTWLS at PastorKPhillips@aol.com.

Legally sufficient allegations of misconduct by Florida certified educators will be reported to the Office of Professional Practices Services. Policies and procedures for reporting misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators whcih affects the health, safety or welfare of a student are kept on file in the School office in addition to this website.
